Gary - I like this one much better than the other of the Latin Quarter. Perhaps it fits my preconceptions of what old European Cities should look like. Does the flare around the bright lights come from the negative/paper process or the Camera? This sort of image tempts me to do much more night time work. Knowing a bit of what you had to do, to create this image makes it more enjoyable, especially in regard to the average point and blast work we see. Carry on the good fight. - John B

The flare around the lights is a product of the coatings on the lens. I am using a older 250 wide field Ektar lens, with minimal lens coatings, so there is more lens flare than in my other posting 'Le Bourbon' which used a 450 Nikkor multi coated lens.
