About This was from yesterday's soccer game. My daughter is the shortest on her team and this is the biggest girl in the league. They are actually good friends though.

Awesome Action shot...You are Right Erik...it isn't fair...My oldest son(19now) played Soccar since he was 5...he was always the shortest on his team....But he was the fastest and could control the ball better then most...He made All State all 4 yrs of HS...and has moved on to college..

You details on this shot are good....The only thing I might have done...Was Isolate the people in the back...and Blurred them A Lot!! that way the focus was on your daughter and the jolly green giant...lol...
But I Love this shot none the less..Good job man!

Best regards

Sam III

Thank you Sam, and I agree with you totally. I've been playing with the new Paint Shop Pro X and trying to go over the paint selection tool for it, and I will try to blur out the people in the back. I don't like them their either. Funny thing is this is cropped, but I kinda like the wide shot better, but it seem too far away. I'll try to repost when I get the selection made for this.

wonderful shot, what a contrast in size, the action is nice, really well done.

Nice Action Shot!

1.) Did you play with the levels a bit, just a little flat..
2.) Keep an eye on distractions in the background, open it up a little to blur the background more. People, sign and flowers distract from the initial subject.
3.) Play with shutter speed a little to see if you can get the ball to have a little motion, but this is just another alternative as your stop motion is just fine.

Again all determined by what your goal in the shot is.
