Looks like a nice peaceful spot, Alison! Nice shot of it!
Dave.

Beautiful blues Alison, nicely composed with the shoreline leading the viewer into the image. It looks like a great place to get away from it all, I like the clouds in the sky on the horizon too, very nicely taken...Linda

Excelente el encuadre que muestra de forma tan elegante el arco de la playa.
Me encanta!

What a beautiful place and a wonderful capture Alison, thanks for sharing these places with us!

Nice Shot Alison, I have a dear friend that lives in Ct...The only thing I would have done was Crop it a bit off the top.

The following is an example of what I mean. I hope you don't mind. Its just that I think its such a great angle, that the tree leaves at the top of the picture don't add anything to the shot.
Let me know what you think.

regards

Sam III

What a lovely place at the perfect time of day. The cool bluish tones in the shadows contrast so nicely with the pinkish clouds. And the branch in the top foreground gives an added sense of depth. Everything is just right.

Lovely shot Alison - the curves of the bay have been used very effectively to lead the eye around the image too. And it seems so tranquil and peaceful! Wonderful...

The sense of serenity in this really carries the whole picture! I love the way the scene is divided into three sections by the strips of land. Simple and elegant!

Thank you Sam for the view sans the branch above, it looks good, but for some reason I like the branch, even though it is not attached to anything.
Where does your friend live.? Alison

Sam Graziano III   {K:14064} 9/13/2005
Hi Alison, I Looked at the shot again, I must have been on a bad monitor, because when I Looked again, the branch above looked better for some reason...Go figure...Sorry to have cropped it out of the shot...As now, I see that it does add more depth to the shot.

My Friend Lives in Grotten....Near Mystic...(I think that is the name of the town).
Best Regards

Sam III

Pretty scene Alison! I like how the shoreline curves around to the jetty. the color of the water is nice as well! And Good use of the overhanging branches to frame the shot! Well done My Friend! Take care and God bless!.........................John

I compared a panoramic (as suggested) with the original version, just by scrolling up and down: I would leave it unchanged, the branch works as a kind of framing, IMO. The shoreline makes the shot here, very aesthetic curve leading my eyes into the scene. Nice one !
