thank you for youf comment of this image from the Quartier Latin in Paris. Taken at 4am in the morning, light takes on a different quality. Different from the times of Brassai....I had no police giving me difficulty even with my tripod and 8x10. Printed with platinum metal salts.

Thank you for your comment. This image was particularly enjoyable to make, working in the Quartier Latin around 4:30 am.
The platinum print shows the tone scales nicely.

Very old style, needed to be in sepia as you already done and gives a mood from the very early days of...19th century, great shot and dramatic too as the lighted areas and the dark areas have lot of difference.
