Thank you, Entre. With some of my work like this, I suppose it's an attempt to make pleasing patterns out of random scenes.

Sometimes fun to go to page one and get amongst the good stuff, I love this black and white shot, a strong composition that exhibits good dof control, for those that are interested, got to be careful not to sound like some holier than thou photographic punse!!.....it's nice work, lines of direction, framing, the lot - congrats on featured critique. kind regards, david.

Thanks, David. It was taken at a favorite Spring place, for me, the New York Botanical Gardens. It's a nice outdoor section of the Cafe, very peaceful, sunny. This time of year, I'm there most Saturdays, at noon. I don't know what a punse is. But, knowing what you're talking about can never be a fault.

Thanks again.

Bob

.....that's amazing, my brother is Curator, Institute of Systematic Botany at nybg, he lives in the Bronx, I have never been there more is the pity, I would love to see the gardens and may even call in and see my brother when I am in the area!!.......thanks Bob, it's hardly worth mentionong but a 'punse' is probably a 'smart arse' or similar, more light hearted than insulting though. cheers, david.
