About I almost decided to title this The Devil's Playground because the playground was black and red. Please scroll down several comments to my revised version of this photo and rate and critique that instead of the original.

Very interesting shapes, good colours, and classic lines. Maybe I would consider cropping the shadows at the top, but not necessarily.
Nice work.

Keith Ruddell   {K:3570} 9/13/2005
Thanks for your comments friends.. I tried to take out some of the distracting shadows of few of you commented on and here is the result. No shadows in the upper right..

Bradley Prue   {K:30312} 9/14/2005
Keith, this is a stunningly effective abstact that IMHO does not suffer from the shadows. Additionally, while I don't normally find that frames add to a photo, this frame suits the shot perfectly. This shot rocks.. .Brad

Eman Shokry   {K:5382} 9/14/2005

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 9/14/2005
Hi Keith, I also don't generally like frames, this one is very effective. With regards to the shadow at the top, I see what others have said, however it didn't bother me. I personally like the original version, or the second one with a black frame. Anyway, great minimalist image!

Joggie van Staden   {K:41275} 9/15/2005
A fine line yes and a very fine photo of it! Excellent Keith, very well seen and composed.

very very beautiful. your eyes catching different artistic details in the life.

regards.

serena previtali   {K:1103} 9/17/2005
The semplicity of lines and colors creates a really powerful image. Congrats

Matej Maceas   {K:24381} 9/17/2005
I prefer your original crop, i.e. with the shadow at the top. It's presence is a natural extension of the shadows on the left side, and it also subtly enforces the top border, helping to keep the eye within the frame as it follows the white line from bottom to top.

Alex Pieroni   {K:15500} 9/18/2005
Great lines and shadows, Keith.
This one is fantastic!
Well done,
Alex

Gayle's Eclectic Photos   {K:91003} 9/23/2005
very strong abstract well seen and composed...yeah,the tiny bit up top removed is fine...love the bold shadows and you can't lose with red n' black in a comp....supersize this one for your wall! regards, gayle
