I got a kick out of that "luck" comment :)
I think it was a famous golfer that was accused of being lucky when he hit a shot a few inches from the pin. The standard reply is, the more you practice, the luckier you get :)

Thanks David, I sell the a shot here and there, probably 8 over the last year, but no where near enough to make a living :), Its probably always going to be a hobby as once you turn it into work the fun is gone IE. I used to be a portrait photographer for a glamor studio, and I have never posted or rarely take a portrait :)

Yea I have heard that one, I people mistake being in the right place at the right time via research to luck, but It does not bother me. yes I remember you mentioned that you did glamour and portrait stuff. I'm doing the same here. I sell a couple of photos but never anywhere enough to even pay for the equipment. But then I get to do what I want without any pressure. And if I sell something its a nice add on.

I like the whole great composition.
The sky, light clouds, hawk's look and the way it's spreading its wings are all excellent.
Seeing your caprtures gave me a whole new look to such interesting creatures. Well done.
Maybe next year (September) you can participate in The Abu Dhabi International Hunting And Equestrian Show (UAE)where photographers can submit their entries in either categories.
