That's adorable. Looks like he equates "time out" with jail!

Simply wonderful Janet!!! Was this done in a studio with lights? Love it!

Janet B   {K:16139} 9/18/2005
Charisse...this was window light and a whiteboard behind him. I wish I owned lights, but I wouldn't have a clue how to use them!

Your comments mean a lot to me ~ I just envy your work! Thank You!

Janet B   {K:16139} 9/18/2005
It was planned...wish it went better though!
Thanks, David!

Love the framing, the simple background and the high key effect. Great work.

Amanda Keeys   {K:9349} 9/18/2005
Adorable. Love the hide-and-seek feel to it.

Angela Freed   {K:10061} 9/18/2005
I love it in this too a lot! But then I'm into this type of coloring right now in pictures. Great idea for this series of pics. I love what the chair does for the shot. What are you doing for the background?

Ooh, I love this one too. I think my preference is the color, but they are both wonderful shots.

Superb portrait! =) Love the composition with the chair and that lovely little fellow behind it. What i would like to see is that you cropped away some at the right side of him. I think that could make it even stronger! =)

Cheers

Janet B   {K:16139} 9/26/2005
Thank you for your suggestion, Patrick!
Would probably work better your way ~ without his eye so centered. Thanks!

Patrick Jacobson   {K:29151} 9/26/2005
aye.. and that the empty sides doesnt add much except just emptiness (which can work though if the crop is right). Work around abit with the crop and see what you can do! =)

Ps. Still a super shot! =)

Regards,

Patrick J

Time out in B&W is so dramatic indeed! Still, the color version is beautiful but this one presents more drama. The baby is adorable. :) Cheers Janet.
