Thanks Sonny (they are real!!) Took these little guys on a small island in the gulf in May 2005, not sure if the island is still there after Katrina, sure hope it is though. Darlene

Susie OConnor   {K:34798} 9/18/2005
Cool! I love these guys. They look so stern. All they need is little reading glasses on the end of their noses....er...beaks!

Dave Stacey   {K:120173} 9/18/2005
Wonderful composition of these two, Darlene! In addition to your usual great clarity and detail, the positioning of the birds is very good.
Dave.

Cute babies...lovely shot! Lovely detail... shows those baby feathers.

Andre Denis   {K:56823} 9/18/2005
Amazing fine feathers on these young pelicans Darlene. Their eyes seem to stare straight out at you from the screen.
They look a little cuter as babies :)
Andre

Rob Hartill   {K:398} 9/18/2005
Ah, so they do exist. We can't seem to find baby pelicans in these parts (Australia). Plenty of adults, but the babies are well hidden.

Jan Graziano   {K:17179} 9/18/2005
Another wonderful capture. I declare, some of your shots look as if you have posed your models in just the perfect position with just the right background. You sure do get around to just the right places at just the right time. The details in this shot are amazing - perfect title to the shot too - they sure do look cuddly (as long as you don't look at their faces) Jan

Guido Tweepenninckx   {K:16571} 9/18/2005

These downy little pelicans look like they are covered in the fleece my wife sews with! Wonderful shot. I think you could make an album of pelican portraits. Nice composition. The detail and exposure are wonderful, as usual! Best wishes, Larry
