Looks like a Muscovy duck! They are so ugly, they are cute! lol This one is a little worse for wear, looks as though some other ducks have been plucking his feathers! Well composed shot, with good details.

Thanks, Laura. I'm shortly hoping for find out what happened to this one. I have a feeling my nephew has recently reclaimed his one-roomed place and evicted the interloper! I just remember that a good clean would have done the creature no harm...

We have some muscovy ducks at the local park. I have shot one of the chocolate one, I love those ugly things! lol
