About ?that is the question?! Does he stay, or does he go? The greenfly, I mean, Petal, not the rose!!! ;o)

I'll load up the cloned out version below!

And, by the way, this will sadly be my last contact with Usefilm for a whole 72 hours as I'm away speaking at a Bible Festival in Weymouth for the next three days!

So?see you soon!!

Best regards to all,

Audrey Reid   {K:5872} 9/19/2005
Perfect sharpness with beautiful shades. I join the call for keeping the little guy - he gives the eye somewhere to land. If the clone tool is handy, I'd take out the drop of yellow in the corner :)

Larry Quigley   {K:12884} 9/19/2005
I think you have a nice sharp exposure of the little bugger...along with the wonderful rose! I guess I would let him stay :-) We will miss your pictures for the next thee days but I'm sure you will take a few more :-). I will try to get myself in gear and have something to show you by then too :-) Regards, Larry.

Fabio Ficola   {K:10466} 9/19/2005

Merete

It's no go on the cloning for me... ;-D!!! I kind of like the little green guy and he doesn't take center stage but definitely adds something... green... LOL!! Great shot!!! Lovely soft colors, wonderful DOF and detail... excellent crop and composition... well done!!! It sort of looks like a soft, lush pillow.... love to put my head on there, but having hay fever that might not be such a good idea... ;-D!!!

Hanggan Situmorang   {K:37824} 9/20/2005

Margaret Sturgess   {K:49403} 9/22/2005
Chris I love both, so I can't choose. But I think maybe the cloned version would also look great with a tighter crop, all rose, the centre and surrounding petals are so lovely, I tried it - then got carried away and added more colour - it is so delicious, what a really fab macro
Margaret

Chris Spracklen   {K:32552} 9/22/2005
I see what you mean, Margaret!
Thanks for taking the time to give this a try. I like it!!
Best regards, Chris

Mary Brown   {K:68553} 10/5/2005
The little greenfly is just admiring the fabulous bloom with the lovely little frills and beautiful colour variations. Don't deny him by cloning him out.
MAry

Chris Spracklen   {K:32552} 10/5/2005
The overwhelming feeling was to leave him, Mary, so I did?
But then he flew away! )
Thanks again for all your kind comments!
Best regards, Chris
