I like this one better dear Zeev, cause on the other version, the sky was too grainy IMHO!

Kiss,

Very impresive shot! For me it is sugesting the end of the world, the cloud behind being the explosion, the ruines the result.
Very well done, congrats.

Roger Williams   {K:82213} 9/20/2005
This is very impressive, Zeev. Lovely rendering of the historic ruins against a really dramatic sky. I wonder why the B&W has a slight colour cast near the centre? Overall, there's a nice cool greenish-blue tone, but just there I see a shade of pink.

Trish McCoy   {K:20866} 9/20/2005
of course stunning!!! I like the tones you chose here. and the dark mood is excellent. That sky too is great, very dramatic.

Dirck DuFlon   {K:35779} 9/20/2005
Una imágen muy dramática, Zeev! Quizás a causa de la perspectiva compresionada, y con los cactos en primer plano, da la impresión de un fuerte en miniatura! Buen sujeto para el IR!

avi saar   {K:2663} 9/20/2005
much better than the first variation, excellent sharpness and contrast, more details , very interesting IR capture, deep regards, avi

Dr. Rafael Springmann   {K:86479} 10/12/2005
Once more outstanding use of your IR filter, giving this half-ruined castle the siniter look it deserves. This was the place I was shot at seriousely for the first time in my life, a very short time before the War of Independence and the way you captured it brings back these memories.
Thank you, Zeev, for your generous comment on my "Sunrise over Aqaba."
Best regards and tzom kal,
Rafi

Alper Tecer   {K:7002} 10/31/2005

Ahmed Ismail   {K:19853} 11/5/2005
Beautiful IR shot! Very nice details on the ruins of the fortress.

Tim Long   {K:9210} 11/5/2005
Excellent IR, Zeev. My first reaction was that the clouds/sky contrast is rather too high, and the blurred clouds odd given the sharpness fore and middle. On further viewing, however, the large cloud looks like a bomb-blast mushroom cloud, blurring and overbright because of the force of the explosion. Intriguing. Thanks! -Tim

Jeff Cartwright   {K:52046} 11/9/2005
