About Subject background: A colorful street scene, flat, full of textures and geometry. What's the meaning of "Bäst"? Is it Swedish? Well, that could be a subject for Jeanette Häglund, next in line with my friends tribute tour. Check out her astonishing style. No way to nail her projects down to one image. This is just a hint for her pictures.

PS concept: Mild work on geometry.

HI Thilo :)
Bäst means the best in Swedish. Thanks a lot Thilo for your tribute... i?m so flattered. I like this scene with the door and all the colours and grafitti and as you said, mild work on geometry. The roof over the door almost looks like an a and it?s almost 3 dimensional! I hardly can?t think that anyone can step inside this door anymore!

I follow all your rest tribute?s as i have done so far

A big hug,
Jeanette

Hi Thilo! "You?re simply the best (bäst is pronounced in the same way), better than all the rest ..." like Tina Turner sings :) This tribute tour proves it ... you are so versatile! Jeanette has such a great eye for shapes and colours, I do envy her! Excellent dedication - as a friend of graffiti Jeanette certainly likes this one ~ nice colours and textures!

Hi Jeanette,

Bäst is really swedish? Well, wow! What a chance. So this image is really the perfect dedication for you =)

Hi Patrick,

the funniest thing is that I didn't know this is Swedish but thought "this sounds Swedish, maybe a good idea to give a tribute to Jeanette" =)))

Thx, Thilo

Thilo,
I think you have done a great job with Jeanette's style. Her more recent work may not have the same patina that this shot has, but the cropping is dead on. Similar patinas and textures exist in quite a few of her works back on her second or third page. I'm sure those were the inspiration for this one.
Well done Thilo!
Andre

excellent image, glorious the dedication to our beautiful and BRAVA Jeanette, (no english words sound good like this italian one to explain this concept)..and what a strange coincidence to find a swedish manifesto in NY,...evidently you're a lucky man! ;-)
