Wow Brad, I can see why this freaked you out, I think I would have had to leave the building, but I'm a big chicken..wow..really great work, the lighting, sepia tones, and vignette work really well here, and it's great to bring this stuff to light, to provoke thought, and hopefully movement...very nice documentary type work...Linda

Linda, believe me...there were many moments walking around pitch dark corners, down hallways, navigating the rotted holes in the floors, all without a flashlight, that I felt like a big, huge chicken ____! But it was like being lured further and further into the black hole....expecting to find yet another gut wrenching sight. I'll bet you would have done the same thing. And when I got home....there was a MAJOR scrubdown! Thank you for your words of encouragement, Linda....you are always eloquent, and very kind! ...Brad

When you rounded the corner and you were confronted with this scene, the hairs on the back of your nevck must have stood and sent chills down your spine. The disintegration is complete in every way imaginable. This is an incredible series Brad!

The vignetting,blurred edges,tone and especially the contrast level create a distinct atmosphere...

Powerful and chilling. It's only a childrens toy for heaven's sake, but you've gone and done what a good photographer goes and does - told a story, and a gripping one! Great moody work. My only criticism is that the doll might be a little too central but that's by-the-way. I keep looking at your images and thinking 'album covers' lately for some reason. Nice one mate!

Mr. Prue. This scene is devastating! Very symbolic! I?m without words! I like the sepia The only thing I can say about this is
You are an excellent photographer and I think I need to express my honest opinion in order to regard my posts as actual critiques, I think I might have hit the exposure comp to -.7 or so and pick up a little more detail in the far wall.. underexposure is easier to correct than overexposure! LOL, As far as you getting in there and getting the job done, well, you?re the man! A photographer has to bend or break some rules in order to get the shot! Like a ghost with a D70 and a vision. I think I like this one the best but I?m not sure yet.
