About The day before I left London I wandered around the Thames River and just couldn't resist the pull of the London Eye. It cost £12.50 ($23) for a half hour ride, but the view from the Eye was an incredible sight. (Unfortunately I just couldn't get a good shot without a little bit of reflection from the pod window.)

Good shot Tamara, hope you enjoyed your visit to my city.

A polarizing filter can cut out that kind of reflection completely, which might be worth remembering. I also thought the ride was worth it for the fantastic view. We had slightly better weather than you did when I took my three sons there. They were mightily impressed, having spent all their lives in Tokyo... You've got a nice record of your visit... well done!
