The day before I left London I wandered around the Thames River and just couldn't resist the pull of the London Eye. It cost £12.50 ($23) for a half hour ride, but the view from the Eye was an incredible sight. (Unfortunately I just couldn't get a good shot without a little bit of reflection from the pod window.)
