A very emotive landscape from a wonderful part of the country. You've captured it very nicely with that threatening looking sky. Congrats on getting this on the front page.
All the best,
John

A gorgeous capture, Helen. The strong curves are both seductive and forbidding. Great tone and composition. I'm so glad it made the front page as I missed it the first time!

A part of the country I have yet to get to.

Not sure if I want to now - it looks too cold to me!

An excellent image of shape and light.

Congrats on the award.

un paesaggio spoglio ma ricco di suggestione...
la visibilitą nella home page č meritatissima, chi vede la home oggi non puņ credere che qui alla usefilm ci siano tanti fotografi non professionisti...
complimenti ancora una volta

Hello Helen,
I'm a Rollei-maniac!! I've a 35 (like you), and a Rolleiflex (that I posted some pictures here, in the Usefilm, check it...).
Congratulations.

Usually it's the foreground with the most light and the background with less; I love how that's reversed in this picture. Very nice capture!

Mohsen Moossavi   {K:425} 5/15/2006
Excellent capture
Good light, composition & view, too.
Best wishes: Mohsen
