I reckon cloning not neccesary, an unintrusive detail that also contributes to context. Sure he'll like it.

Oh, great street shot of the two friends talking dear Arwa and great dedication for Mark JB :) great friend and photographer indeed!

I would not remove/clone the white wall, cause it is a part of the street. superb expression on their faces you have captured dear :)

Hi Arwa.
Beautiful picture. I luv this type of street photography.
Keep the image as it is. It is true to life, not larger than life. Thats what makes it great.

Kind Regards,
George.

Quite a nice street portrait, Arwa! I think it would be good also if you darkened the wall on the right of the image as you mentioned, but I don't think it detracts - the umbrella catches my eye more, perhaps because of the angle?

Lee Harris   {K:14694} 9/29/2005
I think that the shot is good as it is, I do like the black background as it allows the ladies to be well pronounced.
But the white wall doesn't take away at all.
Very nice shot

Dear Arwa, Thank You, That's so sweet of you - I really appreciate it. Also, a very good candid street shot of KL. It's funny but I've always stayed in the same hotel in the Chinatown area (but I can't remember the Name because it's been awhile since I've been to Malaysia or S.E. Asia in general - plan to go next year. A friend is moving to Bali, maybe I'll be his part time neighbor :~>). BTW, I think the white wall is fine, doesn't distract at all. Thanks again for the nice "shout out", your friend Mark

No, I wouldn't change the wall on the left, Arwa.
Just dodge her face and feet a little to pull the eyes straight in to the central object.

arwa abdullah   {K:34425} 10/2/2005

nice street image.. good tones and lighting.. excellent capture

karen clarke   {K:18847} 10/7/2005
I think that the expression of the woman on the left captures the most attention. I wouldn't worry so much about the wall. Well captured~
