About His'n'Hers - We'll always have Paris.

Originally had a roaring fire in mind, but then a classic movie worked better here.

This was definitely a photographic challenge for me. With my husband's guidance and a few squillion shots later, success. At least, I think so...?

Ha ha ha! Turned out great, Rina!!

These 2 look serious...watching old classics together and all! BUT, will it last??!

Rina     {K:27299} 9/28/2005
Ah, yes. Good question Janet... ;)

Quite the imagination you've got going there, Rina! Looks like you're having fun...and so are we!

Glad to hear it Kathy! You do realise, of course, that it was your reference to "personality" that spurred all this...?

You never know, it may start a trend toward soap opera series style images amongst UF members!!!

That would be cool... :)

Now I understand, I see the link. Again Rina love the tone in a well worked composition.

(boot envy...it's not pretty)

I roared when I saw this and the title! Frank (my SO) thought I'd lost my mind...again.

Perfectly done! I love your mind, Rina. The adoption papers are on the way.

Hiya Jude! Haven't stopped laughing myself! Boy, have I got some goodies in store for you :))

I think what's funnier though, is the scene of my husband and I in the living room last night setting this whole thing up. Flicking through the dvd, finding the right Bogart/Bergman moment, positioning the boots just so, turning out the lights and getting on the floor for an hour or so of, "No, the light's not right", "No, turn the flash down a bit", "Oh sh*t, the boots moved", "What the hell do mean 'change the apeture'?"!

What a scream THAT was!!

Excelente Rina, toda una historia contada en fotos.
Felicitaciones!

I think this is technically the best shot of the series... the challenges of getting the tv properly exposed as well as getting enough light on the boots in a darkened room is much harder than it looks I suspect... dodging the highlights off the boots was a good idea too. Well done.

Rina     {K:27299} 10/2/2005
My husband's a great man. He tells me he learned about dodging from what he knows of Ansel Adams techniques.

In this situation, I think (hope) it paid off!

Yes, it was more difficult than it looks. Trying to find a balance between what should/shouldn't be visible in the shot. A lot of trial and error. But loads of fun!!

Cheers bud!
