About The apartment below me had a fire and the fire department had to take some action in my bedroom to put out the flames in the walls.

This is my bedroom.

Fortunately, there is another unit to move into, and I am well insured. Just have to put in some hard work to get everything cleaned up and moved into a new place, so I will not be around for a while...

Well glad that at least noone got hurt, and sorry for the hassle you got because of this.

Ian McIntosh   {K:42170} 9/29/2005
Nice tones but frankly a little cluttered to relax the eye. the secret of a good photo is knowing what to leave out etc etc insensitive comments etc etc
bad luck Michael what a thing tio return to and none your fault. Tells a tale. good luck.

Cheeky. I like that. Needed a laugh this morning before I start the clean up. I'll see what I can do for you during this process.

Wow...it's exactly like mine! Now what are the odds, I ask you!

Love the image, Michael, and I'm much relieved you're okay. Take your time. You're worth the wait.

Your place too? Suckage. I do have some hints on smoke damage, etc. Been through this before.

...not too gentle were they???...soory for the mess and thanks for the comment today - means a lot to me -- take care and post when you can...kev

Kevin:

They were actually really gentle for the situation, they laid that blue tarp down and moved the furnature from the wall pretty effectively.

Losses were minimal thanks to that blue tarp!

Hmmm. Mine's like this and I didn't have a fire! Sorry to hear your trouble, Michael. I guess that puts stitching panoramas on the back burner. When you get back into action I have some very good news for you in that area. Major upgrade to the lowest cost option! Makes even complex stitching a complete breeze!

Tim  Schumm   {K:28854} 10/14/2005
AHHHHH Crap sorry to hear it. Glad that you are ok.

Wow! I missed this chapter of excitement. Sorry to hear this. Glad you got through it okay.
A friend's 80 year old parents just went through the same thing, but they had to rebuild the whole townhouse. With the tangle of idiotic LA County codes and permits it took a year to get done! They are in a total-care facilty now permantaly.

Wow! Glad you got through it okay. Missed this story. Been hopping around and busy.
