Looks great. I like the angle. Only thing I can say to critique is maybe deeper tones on the foreground dirt.

Yes! the colors seem a bit flat. Now I notice that, but my emphasis was on the unusual shape of this shrub and to point out that sometimes small things, most of the time overlooked, can be interesting, exciting and unusual. Thank You for the comment

I like this image, mirek. A desert, parched version, of my Northumbrian, "Stark", without the noise! Good, graduating blue, of that Californian sky.

A fascinating shot. Well composed, and with a very natural palette. I find images of the desert interesting, because it is far different from Georgian Bay, where I live.
