About Well have a guess... ;-D!!! Blubb, blubb, soaked would've been the right word for it, if it hadn't been for my enormous cycling speed... (yeah right) and the fact the downpour lasted for only two/three minutes and I was able to jump off my bike and in to a buss shelter... ha!!! But the skies that day were super... a pitty I couldn't get out of the city to take some real landscape shots... ah well next time... ;-D!!!

This is a "real landscape shot", Petal. One that anyone could be proud of. Great composition and I love the ominous cloud hanging over the scene. Nicely done. Thanks for your recent comments. I do appeciate them. Larry.

Ah well my wee flower... a good dousing with water is good for you once in a while!
Lovely shot although (nit nit time) it does seem to have a bit of noise in the clouds and its a touch overexposed on the buildings to the right. Perhaps underexposing 2/3 of a stop would fix that. Love the composition and the squarer format though - works well!

Alastair

hi Petal, thanks for commenting on my last photo. Taken a look at your portfolio and have to say, great work! thumbs up. Long way for me to go, to match your level:) Chose this particular photo to add a comment, since i'm pretty sure i recognize the scene. The shot must be taken from a bridge in Maastricht right? Beautiful sky.. i'm a sucker for skies like these. Guess i could consider myself rather fortunate, being a student and living in Zeeland for the weekends. Nothing but open sea and skies all around. You ought to have a look, it can be truly amazing.
Keep up the good work.
cheers
