Nice ..

This is beautiful!! Such a sweet and innocent feel. Love the closeness.
Great focus at 1.4...wow!

Were you able to get up close because of the lens...or is this a crop? Curious...

I can see the reflection at the eyes. Beautiful eyes.
My regards, LArissa

thanks Janet, the lens is actuallt not letting me get as close as I want sometimes. I like those kind of close ups and often I have the kids around very close to me.
I don't remember exactly but I think here she was a little tired and looked at me. I grabbed the camera and got as close as the lens would let me. Fortunately she didn't move. At f/1.4 and that close the DOF is almost zero. The slightest move would make the eyes blury.

Great framing. I love this shot.

Those eyes are amazing! I'm very surprised she didn't move. Great shot!

Ahhh....I've just purchased the similar lens, David, and it's wonderful in low light situation..:)
Anyway (lol)...
Very nice close up composition and masterfully exposed. Lovely soft BW tone. Congrats!

Ha, yes, i was wondering if she still had her pacifier! It will be sorta sad to see it go, when it does, it seems to be almost a bit of a trademark...
I love how her eyes look so big in this.
