About Subject background: A dramatic landscape... you might guess which photographer I try to make a tribute this time ;-)

It's Fadel J, a really astonishing Usefilmer. Check out his INCREDIBLE pictures right here

http://www.usefilm.com/photographer/53632.html

PS concept: Some channel mixer layer work on the foreground and the sky.

Edit: Changed the title due to feedback =)

Here is an alternative version which might be even closer to Fadel's pictures...

Randal Dean   {K:4004} 10/9/2005
WOW! I feel like I'm flying right into this one.

George Black   {K:101978} 10/9/2005
Fabulous effect! I thought at first you had forced the perspective in PS; then I saw the 10-20mm lens. Either way, it's a fine result.

Regards,
--George

Wow, thilo! Dramatic is an understatement.. The sky seems to be saying "I am larger than life, and everything runs through me".. I agree with Randall, it makes you feel like you are on the nose of a plane! Outstanding tribute!

donnerkeil, die wolken haben aber auch einen dramatischen effekt, als ob man ins bild hineingesaugt wird. deine tributes sind - wie so viele von deinen bilder - echt erste sahne....feines framing auch...

vg, uwe

Fantastic work Thilo, the sky is particularly incredible but the lines in the field really make this. Superbly presented to :-)

Best wishes,
Steve

Carsten Ranke   {K:14453} 10/11/2005
Enormous scenery, this lens is awesome ! Your B&W comes close to Fadel, more than the color version IMO. Maybe I would add some grain and shift the tones to the left for a perfect camouflage ;-) But its a Thilo, and a landscape very much after my fancy, love it !

Cheers

Carsten
