Fantastic shot! Love the composition here. Best parts is the curve that divide the dark from the light part and ofcourse the lonely walking human which gives the dune some awesome size. Also the perspective is great! Good work!

Regards,

Patrick J

I love the desert and I love dunes, but I must confess that I've not yet seen man dwarfed so much by a dune as in this excellent photo. The golden sand, the tiny footsteps and the position of the man in the photo are great.
Thank you, James, for your generous comment on my "Love in Eilat." I don't remember all the fiters I used. I think I brightened the photo, solarized it and used "glowing edges." I might also have inverted the photo. This is the way I usually use P.S. I try varios ways and filters, use some, retract others, until I think the photo is finished.
Best regards,
Rafi

Incredible. If it weren't for the man, there's really no way of ascertaining the scale here. Spectacular shot James, impressive division of light and shadow... Can't believe I have not visited your portfolio sooner. You have a wonderful collection here, congrats.

Cheers
Rina.

Thanks for your tip on the surfer dude. Will definitely have to 'move' him over before it goes to print ;)
