Love the effect... qt first I thought it could use a little more contrast, but on the other hand, that is a big part of the feel of the image. Great shot... Think it would be nice in sepia too...

Very beautiful, I really like the vignette..it adds a lot of interest and emphasis on the flower and the tone is excellent!

Bjorn,
I love the 5D. I upgraded from a digital rebel and there is no comparison. The camera feels so much sturdier and the image quality is outstanding. The 13 MP really comes in handy because I can crop and still have large usable files. If you're thinking about upgrading I highly recommend it.

Love this shot Laurie... vry very effective use of the toning. Got to say I'm with Bjorn on the contrats though - I think a little more contrast or a little darker would really lift the image (I use a laptop so I have to be a bit careful about viewing angles as the screen darken/lightens according to viewing position but if I get lower (darker) the image really stands out).

Excellent detail and DOF too.... That 5D sure ooks good - now if only I could afford a D2x or a Kodak DCS/n...... :-(
