nice that you couldn't help capturing this hairy little monster. I know, it's rather difficult to set the focus on the right point, but you succeeded, dear bradley. my compliments!

And I'm so glad you couldn't, it's wonderful, love the angle, and the dof. The composition is beautiful, great work Brad, I've been thinking lately that it's time for me to do some macros and now you've inspired me...thanks...and great work my friend...Linda

Linda Bique   {K:74033} 10/27/2005
Hey I was wondering how I missed this because you are on my friends list so I came back to see when you posted it and that's was my birthday...don't ask...hahaha, and I was away...so now I know...great work again my friend..Linda

Great Macro, good light! Lots of detail here, I don?t really get into insect macros or floral photographs as much as some people, but I have practiced a few and I realize that they are more difficult then it may seem. As far as any constructive criticism goes.. I think it?s a little shallow on the depth of field, I think you might be losing too much detail of the subject. I?m wondering how far away from this critter you were, I didn?t know you can pull off that incredibly shallow of dof with a 28-300mm, i guess I?m going to have to play around with my telephoto lens more. GREAT MACRO
~Mike

perfect macro!
well done

Bradley Prue   {K:30312} 11/7/2005
Michael, the DOF is so limited because I had a combination #1 and #2 Close Up Lens attached to the Tamron. I SEVERELY limits the DOF, which makes it very difficult to pick up on the details of animals and bugs. Thank you for your kind words!

Bradley Prue   {K:30312} 11/7/2005
Thank you, Brulim!
