Of course it had to be Banff with that emerald coloured water. So gorgeous! :) Amazing colours and the clouds drew me straight into this photo. A wonderful photo of an absolutely pristinely beautiful scene.

Okay, I lied in the comment on Bow Lake II - I do like this one the best of the two shots. The river in this composition helps make this shot - leads you right in to the heart of the shot and right to that glassy lake and the mountain. That stuff piling up on the sides of the mountain, if I remember my geology - is called talus. Regardless - the rich fall colors and its contrast with the dark threatening sky and snow dusted mountain is even better in this shot than your other one. Thank you, thank you for sharing this one!
