About Majestic is the mane of the came in Langdale, Cumbria, UK.

It's no Yoseite or grand canyon, not even a Glen Coe, but it's a superb blend of farmed fields, undulating hills and at the end, a series of "stickels" that have huge cracgs and rock faces.

The one to the right is the highest at about 2400-2500 feet and is Harrison Stickle. There's actually a lake up there called Stickle Tarn - just to the right of Harrison, then a cliff face called Pavey Arc just behind - but yopu can't see it from this angle so tough.

another example of lucky light here - helped by L glass

Nice one.

So, Ade, you also do normal shots apart from your slow speed ones ! I see.

Note -

How far are you from Manchester. Just that I am moving to Wigan in Manchester in few weeks time.

Regards,
ken.

it's all on the tripod still Ken - no change there!! keeps them nice and sharp!

Moving to Wigan! That's the home of the Pie :-)

it's not too far from Alastair or Steve and I at all. I'm 36 miles from Manchester, but a bit further from Wigan - probably 40-45.

This place (in the photo) will be about an hour away in the car.

Good location - give us a shout when you get over

Cheers

Ade

Just gorgeous, Ade!
I'm impressed with that 'L' glass ~ and that's saying something coming from a Nikon man!!
Best regards, Chris
