Immaculate and beautiful. Perfect seasonal shot, lighting, and comp. I really admire those who can capture the "mood" and have the viewer feel as if he/she were actually there (present). Well done. Best regards.

like you were so closed to the mountains to take this shot - it reveals lots of details; like the majestic of the mountains in the background compared to these little colorful trees; well done, Tim regards Lukasz

hi Tim. i guess is this is the best photo i have seen in your series for the lake. i like the small area of the reflective water, and yet the interferance between the colors is great and without the use of reflection. the white in clouds and snowy mountains and yet on the ground. the rock color goes from the mountains to the lowest piece of ground in the photo. the trees also are slim and tall to match the vertical frame. this is a very dynamic photo, and i think this one is the best. lovely work u have done.

Looks cold Tim!!!! Really a beautiful scene! Nice perspective looking up at those breathtaking peaks!!! The sky is nice here! The trees add a nice touch of golden color to the scene! Real nice shot Tim! My best...............John

This falls into the catagory of "breathtaking" Since we both know that photos don't do justice, I can't imagine actually how pretty this is in person. Fantastic jimc

I never had the opportunity to spend any time there in October. Great photo ops, but 'off season' for mountaineering. Did you stay at the Elizabeth Parker hut? I remember noisy porcupines keeping us up at 0300h one time.
This is another classical mountain photo, nicely done, Tim. Cheers.

Hi Dave,
No we didn't stay at the hut....we slept in the van in the parking lot and took the bus up at first light, then hiked all day and then back down to the parking lot.
