Nice catch Cessy. The b/w is very good and the light/shadows really interesting.

A well controlled exposure, Cessy, and a fine composition.
Lots to interest the eye.
Best regards, Chris

The large version must be amazing. This feels like a man coming into light but doesn't realize it with the weight on his shoulder's. Slumping.

I would've gone crazy figuring out where to crop this in photoshop, I did in fact. Came up with 2 versions. Did you brighten the signs?

Sad moment with the just the right amount of hope.

hi thanks Mark, would love to see your 2 crop versions :)
I didn't brighten the sign, in this pic I almost did nothing with PS except simple convert to BW

Just thought it was more his moment. To me the buildings let me know location, and the sign I made match with the one in the light outside of the tunnel, but darker. The shoe rack to me just showed how a journey can be traveled, I liked that humbleness. Left the column on the left to hold up the picture :-). Also the light above him that light center square. A little hope too,I don't think this improves on what you did in any way just a slightly different story. Hope to be lucky enough to have a moment such as this.

lite hope

I really appreciate it

have a nice day,

This is an interesting shot with those lines and perspective, people passing and that sign over there i really like! But i would crop the left part of the image to make this compo even stronger.
