Perfect tones and presentation Laurie, Ms Greta looks like one pampered pooch..hahaha...vignette works well here, and how on earth did you get her to pose like that, it's a perfect doggie pose portrait...hey there's a tongue twister...very nice work...Linda

What a wonderful doggie portrait, Laurie! :) This came out so well - it makes me think of one of those old victorian portraits! Very nicely done!

Linda,
Thanks so much.

I have found that the secret to good posed puppy portraits (that is a tough twister!) is working with a really lazy dog. As long as Greta is comfortable she will sit for hours and let me snap as many pictures as I want. My cat Isabelle is the same way. :)

Your choice of mono colour is a perfect choice, a powerful image, with wonderful contrast, dark but enough to show great details, super. Saeed

Beautiful!!! Such a face! Wow, I just noticed you have the 5d. Do you love it? It's the first DSLR, I'd be interested in buying...full frame!

L. Gould   {K:11900} 10/24/2005
Chris,
I really love the 5d. It's leaps and bounds ahead of my rebel. The image quality is fantastic and I love the full frame. The only drawback is I do get some vignetting when I use my 20mm wide angle lense. But, with 13 MP, I can afford to crop a little. If you're thinking about getting one, I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.
