hi, i just love the contrast level and light,Todd!
Like how you composed and all of the verticals/horizontals...it gives me a profound feeling of aloneness...of walking aimlessly and not having any sense of direction...yes,i be troubled lately! ;>
Good work and the quality of light takes my breath away...regards,gayle
(i really appreciate that you commented on my first female form image...it was encouraging,Todd)

This is like a wim wenders mood an his movies and also brick building style as i like so much! I have to add this to my favs.... cause of the mood, the light and the simplicity - AND wim wenders look alike,.....

:)

The 3D effect produced by the strong lines and fabulous lighting makes me feel that every thing is at a stand still for you to take this great shot, then people standing out of the frame on the side walk would come in to pursue their daily affairs. And this is all to say that the line running from you to us is very much appreciated.

Hi Todd,

"flat, but 3D", says Confuzius. I like the multi layers, the vertical fighting with the horizontals to get a puzzled look. awesome sharpness and detail. you and your D70 are quite a couple.

best wishes,
Thilo

A clever choice of a title for a beautiful image ! You own this light and tone Todd. Again this shot is very ?intellectual?, I mean ?precise?, but never, ever cold - again I think partly because of the warm light. Great work.

Abstract perfection, caught by a master.

Watch and learn, Jude...watch and learn.

...this is certainly one of your strongest images in my jaded eye - the color and form spill from the screen (oh to be looing at this framed on a wall) love it for some unknown, internal umph it gives me - K

Todd,
Great image. I love the lighting - creates nice contrasts and brings out the fine textures.
Regards,
Mark

Incredible image, Todd. Lines, light, color are superb. The not-quite-straight vertical lower left is a fantastic detail that makes the whole even better.

Todd Miller   {K:16464} 10/24/2005
thanks KC! your opinion carries a lot of weight in my mind...and i'm glad you like this one. i am going to try to print this one, i'm wondering how large of a print i can get away with. have you printed anything off the D70 yet?

João Tavares   {K:39123} 11/3/2005
Excelent.

I like it. Powerfull collor. Artificial and very vivid. Colors of earth. Framing. The symbolic number three at the area of the golden section. The title makes me wander what the line refers to. The small one on the left or the trees.

Sincerely,
Theodore Stamoulis
