Just beautiful- something about the falling leaves and bare trees that gives you a chill up your spine. Really a wonderful capture.

Thankyou so much kay , the colour version looked great to , but i like it this way as it makes the eye take notice , hope you agree !! cheers .. marky .

Excellent portrayal of memories close to the heart.

Thanks sweetie for your comments on my images. I am getting ready to head off in a weeks time. So much to do....not enough time.

Superb shot Mark, very seasonal and very poignant indeed.
I like the desaturation you have done, as you say it concentrates the attention on the subject.

Keith Saint   {K:10989} 10/23/2005
Nice PS work on the stones
Well seen shot marra

Ian McIntosh   {K:38813} 10/23/2005
How can one forget when the leaves conjure up bones as here. Great shot.

Colin Cartwright   {K:15699} 10/24/2005
A sobering and emotive image, Marky. I like the selective colouring on the first cross. the dead leaves add to an already impressive image. You're getting cool at the PS stuff! The sepia tone is very effective, also. Autumn is a great time for us photographers, eh, marra?

good old graves - nice of them to topple a bit and make them interesting subjects.

effective PS work - really works well

Naomi Weidner   {K:6579} 10/27/2005
Very nice PS work, Marky. I especially like the one yellow leave on the ground. The name is poignant . . . almost like the memory is fading, like the color. Well done. -- Naomi
