Definitely! Those golden tones that are so warm and rich...just like honey. I like the slight softness in this photo...too sharp would have ruined the ambiance. Pretty!

Home run! What a clever idea. The brilliant color is DOF out focus in the background while we focus on darker leaves in the razor sharp foreground. A nice twist on traditional leaf shots. Nice silhouettes and the twigs create a vainy abstract. Outside-the-box thinking is a key of great photography. Hard to teach that. I'm stealing all your ideas first chance I get! When is your glossy coffee table book due out? Tremendous shot! Congrats!

Thanks for the superlatives, Mark! I'm a pattern person, I have a number of these, in different combinations. I look at patterns, doesn't matter what: leaves, logs, etc. I'm glad you like it. Here's another one for you (attached below). This one's entitled "Green Amber" - I won't post it - too repetitious, I think :)

Thanks for posting the "Green Amber" variation on your theme. While I prefer the chromatic variety in "Honey" and more its central branch positioning, it's quite interesting to see this greener variation. You obviously have the same beautiful DOF and background colors working for you to create a similar abstract pattern. These are both extremely attractive shots. It is facinating to see someone else's selection preference, usually I only see mt own. Thanks again!
