About Finally, it's Emley Mast, the tallest free standing structure in teh UK at just over 1000 feet tall.

the foreground was kindly lit by a street lamp above my head.

That tower always tells you that you;re nearly home when travelling up the M1 or M62.

There you go - 3 properly moody blasts from the past. Looks like we'll be getting more when the hour goes back.... whenever that is!

Yes its getting like that now. Never stopped raining with us to day.I have put the camera away for the winter and have taken up knitting where I think I will have as much success.

Knitting eh?

could do with some thick socks for walking around in the coming cold :-)

have you seen this mast - it's HUGE!!!!

think I had a filter on this, but the 15-30 vignettes like mad when you put ANYTHING on it (be warned there) so had to do cloning in the corners.

stick with canon... though that 16-35 is a grand :-(
