Very nice picture Jeanette. The leaves are still holding their shapes. The collage that they create is full of lines and shapes that keeps my eyes moving. Beautiful colours as well.

One never gets tired of autumn colors: they are so ephemeral...
But beyond their beauty in color and shape, I see the subtle contrast with the dark concrete-like soil in the background. This is an element that makes this shot different from "generic leaves" as mentionned Marco. I would probably add that this background reveals more information about the photographer's "urban" view than the leaves about her "nature" view!

Such a wonderful abstract of shape color and line! The grounding of the leaves provides and consistent counterpoint of texture to the leaf patterns. The lighting is optimal and the angle of the composition is very well chosen. Well seen!
