great set of legs...

Yannis Lianos   {K:881} 10/27/2005
great form! The legs are transformed to an abstract photographic object

Thank you, I cropped the image to accentuate that effect so I'm pleased that you agree with what I was trying to show.

Excellent games of lines and shadows enhanced by a perfect lighting. Right into my favorites, congrats, Greg!

greg,

Wonderful highlights and shadows on this 1. I do love the tones, as well as the goose bumps regarding the textures.

The DOF is pretty awesome, but I would truly love to see this great capture using 1/30th @ f/8. If I'm not mistaken your Canon 18-55mm has Image Stabilization, just like my 17-85mm.

Therefore 1/30th of a second is nothing to hand hold, as I have shot @ 1/5th hand held with no blur...

Have fun, and welcome to Usefilm, my friend,

Martin

Thank you, I'm glad that you appreciate it!

Hey, thanks for the feedback. The 18-55 doesn't have IS, if I am short of space when I am out cycling then I have to leave the 18-55 at home and make do with the kit lens as in this case. My cycling and photography don't go too well together, this opportunity occured just due to being in the right place at the right time depite having the 'wrong' lens!

Erik Neldner   {K:10896} 11/3/2005
beautifully done! i love the legs reduced down to their basic geometric shapes.

greg mckenzie   {K:205} 11/4/2005
Oops, made some mistakes with that last reply (I must have been suffering from a migraine or something!

If I'm short of space I take the kit lens - 18-55mm, otheriwse I take the 17-85mm IS lens. Sorry for any confusion I caused.
