About Isle of Wight early in the morning this summer. I know that the horizon is in the middle of the shot but this time I like the result and I did break the rule of third consciously :-).
Hope you like it.
PS free :-), natural colors.
regards
Lukasz

superb.

It's a wonderful image. Personally, I wouldn't worry about such "rules". Firstly, rules are for guidance only. Secondly, if it results in a striking image, it really doesn't matter. Thirdly, there is something of a blur between the sea and the sky here, and the colour change actually occurs a third of the way down the image...

amazing result.
i guess the rules are put to pring up results that feel and seem right, and this photo seems perfect.
i follow my heart and mind, with respect for rules.
well done.

break the rules! just results count, and this is stunning!

Lori Stitt   {K:74437} 10/27/2005
This result is PERFECT...EXCELLENT.
The heck with the rule of thirds, this is really nice. The cliff draws the eye down to it. and with the shading of colors, this is perfect just the way it is.

I LOVE THIS ONE,
Lori :)

ps.."rules are made to be broken"

Beutiful colors and light. =) Didnt think of that the horizon was in the middle due to the "hill" that helped alot in the composition. I like it! =)

Cheers

Rules are there to be broken, Lukasz, and I totally endorse your breaking of 'thirds' in respect of this beautiful shot!! I like it a lot!
