It's a lovely shot, Chris. Beautiful effect with the light behind the spray and the dark backdrop of the cliffs. The little figures in silhouette are great, too. I'm surprised there were so many on what was obviously a cold and windswept day.

Gorgeous misty moody image Chris, I love the way the mist is layered in the rocks, and the immense cliffs make a wonderful backdrop. I think the reasons I get 30-40 comments an upload are?
i. I'm fortunate to have found some good friends who are very faithful with their commenting.
ii. I try to return every comment with a comment, rather than just 'reply' with a 'thank you'. And?
iii. I probably pick up a few most times on account of my images being fairly bright and appealing to the eye.
As to the 'critique only' option, that's something you can set in your preferences to stop people 'marking' your photo's out of 7 ~ which, in my opinion, is by and large a pretty pointless exercise as many people tend to give only 6's and 7's!!
