About This is another recurring theme. I think I take it with each lens and camera I possess... Here I did more after-processing than usual, bringing up the shadowo detail and slightly enhancing saturation in the rather pale dawn sky.

Yes, I think I've seen this bridge before, Roger ~ but, different light, different picture.
Nice work with the Ultron ~ I can sense you're pleased with it.
Best regards, Chris

Thanks Chris. Yes, I like the natural perspective of this lens, and it seems very sharp and quite flare resistant (shooting into the sun as in this case). Altogether very nice... and very compact. At a pinch it even doubles as a modest macro, focusing down to 40cm--some examples will soon be coming of that. I am thinking I might take a photo of my Voigtlander Bessaflex and the considerable array of cut-price lenses I have acquired and show it here with a title like "Choose your weapon!" What do you think? The whole lot has cost me less than a D70 body...

I'm quite familiar with this type of landscape, only that the bridge in your area is much more beautiful in shape. It reminds me of one of the bridges over Sumida river in Tokyo.
