Cool effect, Gayle! Wouldn't have thought of this, but it works!

This image makes me feel like there is someone stalking the girl and watching her through some sort of vision aid like a telescope or binocs. I think the circular colours and grain gives me this feeling. I've been told I have a vivid imagination. I guess if you put the right image in front of me it works overtime. Again very creative and thought provoking. Cheers - Ann :)

LOL...there WAS someone watching her thru a telephoto...ME! hehehe...yeah, i know what you mean and i often get that feeling from certain comps that give you that perspective....thanks,Ann
Is it my imagination,or is UF very sloooooooow tonight?

Ann Nida   {K:45230} 11/2/2005
Ha ha good one Gayle. I'd forgotten all about you behind the lens. I actually meant it had a kind of Jack the Ripper feel to it. How funny you are. :)

I don't know about it being quiet. I'm busy as a chicken without a head in here tonight posting comments and replying like it's going out of style. I'm really tired now as it's almost midnight on my side now so I think I'll call it and answer all my fan mail tomorrow. ;) Told you all I'm a fat head since I got that SC today. haha. Cheers - Ann :)

Cool effects Gayle. Kathy and I might be at Greenlake tomorrow. Hopefully we'll happen upon some photo ops. This is great!

Yeah, this looks like a stalker shot for sure... updated goggles from that "Silence of the Lambs" guy...kinda creepy if you ask me (but creepiness is everywhere these days it seems) Interesting work, Mark

I like the grain and the overall composition, but I'm not fond of the purple banding (it makes it look like you used a plastic lens). I think it would be stronger as a mono or duotone.

;)

nice PS job,regards

hehehe...you hit the nail on the head,Paul! i was going to put in the about that it was my attempt to give a holga-polaroid look (plastic lens vision!)so, guess i met my goal....Thanks!

I like the rainbow color effect radiating from the center, strengthing the effect of looking through a telescope. The yellowish frame makes it look like an old print that underwent some color change. Very effective.

Yeah I like the effect.
Thought that was the idea as well :)
