Laurie - beautifully done! This would have been hard to do with all of the red. Lighting seems to have done the trick!
Also, nice to see that you have upgraded your camera. My guess is that you will be treating us to some great shots.  )

Hi Laurie!
I like the innovative angle on this one. I also like the selective focus, and in my opinion it is just right, showing off the petals very nicely. The focus on red #2 seems a bit off compared with this one.
Beautiful overall composition, the reds look lush and very inviting.
