About Nah! It's never too late.

Actually I took this one with my old S602Z, something like a year and a half ago! Now that I know my way around Photoshop a bit, I thought I could make something of it. (Not that I changed a lot, but it started off as a beach shot!!) :o))

Best regards to all,

Chris

Markus Scholz   {K:22743} 11/4/2005
Correct, it's never too late, Chris. We even have them still in our garden. I like how you have lead the path trough your picture between the wonderful blues and greens. The framing supports the impression.

Regards, Markus

Margaret Sturgess   {K:49403} 11/4/2005
Chris Due to you modification then I guess it could be a 'surf and turf' composition :) wonderful colours and I like the way the composition starts from the left corner and then path goes to the right and the trees lean to the right - and having more bluebell area on the right too Excellent
Margaret

Beautiful work Chris, the colours of bluebells never cease to please me, it's one of the finest times of the year to be walking in woods when they are in flower, you have to make the most of the few weeks we see of them! Love the framing too, nice job. Roll on next May!!

Roberto Arcari Farinetti   {K:176321} 11/4/2005

Larry Quigley   {K:12884} 11/4/2005
Oh...this is a beach shot...I thought there was something fishy about it :-). Wonderful BLUE bluebells, Chris, and a very nice composition.

stingRay .   {K:136763} 11/4/2005
Beautiful Springtime shot composed entirely out of utilising a Summertime beach shot. I'm amazed Chris but I think I can spot a deckchair and sandcastle if I look hard enough.
Seriously Chris it is a lovely balanced and gorgeously coloured composition and although we should never wish our lives away the bluebells will be round again fairly soon. It's good to rummage through our files and you have dug a little beauty out. Well done,,Best wishes..Ray

Hanggan Situmorang   {K:37746} 11/4/2005
Great composition and colors, Chris. Excellent processing work, even with the old gear...:)

Kathy Hillard   {K:25721} 11/4/2005
Another chuckle from Chris! Laughing is one of my favorite things to do...so no wonder I watch you stuff!!! I don't know which is the bigger stretch...that this was a beach scene, or that you know your way around Photoshop "a bit"!!!
Very pretty shot, Chris! Well done!
Kathy

ade mcfade   {K:12388} 11/4/2005
now that is global warming at it's best - bluebells in November!

really nicely composed shot, the road leading the eye into the wood very nicely.

interesting taht you've got such an expanse to the right of the shot - I've attached the crop I'd probably done, but the larger area does work in this - mainly because of the saturated colours

Roberto Carli   {K:13689} 11/4/2005
Amazing flowers colours, but ur frame it's too heavy in my opinion,ur gorgeous shots doesn't need!!!!
best.

Chris Spracklen   {K:32552} 11/4/2005
Manyy thanks for your kind comment, Roby!
Best regards, Chris

Dave Stacey   {K:111920} 11/4/2005
Very nice composition, Chris, and wonderful colour! It's nice to see this time of the year when it's starting to look pretty drab until the snow comes.
Dave.

Petal Wijnen   {K:47829} 11/4/2005
Oh boy, now a blue sky isn't enough anymore.... even the ground has to be blue all over.... LOL!!! And as we are all lying in bed... warm woolen socks on and safety belts secure to avoid getting blown out by the autumn storms... you come with a spring 'motive'.... ehhhhmmm okay if that 'saves' me from posing in a bikini... you may.... ;-D!!! Nice view, great (souped up) blue and good composition... well done!!!!

Lily     {K:10991} 11/4/2005
An enchanting trail through the woods. The frame and crop are perfect, Chris. Have a nice weekend.

Roger Williams   {K:81877} 11/5/2005
You should show us the original beach shot, Chris. Might give a few pointers to us poor PS-challenged folks. Your getting-to-be-standard panoramic crop and black frame suits this very well. Having a good, simple, standard frame that doesn't distract from the image seems like a good idea... And I LOVE the bluebells BTW.

Lukasz Kuczkowski   {K:14684} 11/5/2005
what a place, Chris! just marvelous; well done, however I would try avoid overexposure of the sky;
regards
Lukasz

Desert Blu   {K:589} 11/5/2005
Beautiful.... beautiful... I love blue bells I must plant some here... not sure if they will grow here actually...I would love to wander down that path...

Thank you so much for the nice welcome back. I have been making my way around looking at old friends work I have missed so along with the projects of the month.

Ah, bluebells seem to be a distant memory. Where has the summer gone? Do you realise it's nearly 7 months since the first UF meet.
This may be 18 months old but it still has all the 'Spracklen' magic about it. Glorious shot.

Clifton Jones   {K:10604} 11/8/2005
GORGEOUS...............
Clifton.....

Stephen Bowden   {K:64513} 11/14/2005
Chris this is just exceptional - I love the colours (really difficult to get on bluebells for some reason). And I do like the presentation - suits it perfectly.

I cannot wait for spring again - there is a bluebell wood at my friends farm which is just magical.

They also do farmhouse B&B hint hint !!!

Steve

Nick Lagos   {K:601} 11/20/2005
