great composition.

Barry Wakelin   {K:7838} 11/5/2005
Fantastic composition and the negative colour film produces just the right tones in the crowd, digital wouldn't have done this.

Jara Parijayee    {K:4964} 11/5/2005
absolutely right Barry,

digital camera pix are nowhere near film scans still. specially the highlight areas are dreadful. i have not marched into the DSLR gang yet.i am not sure whether we shall have to do so because pro quality film and process support availability is getting scarce in our city kolkata even.

Karina Brys   {K:16541} 11/5/2005

Jara,

This is an excellent image - the subject matter very interesting together with an unsual play of light and dark texture areas. I might try that sometime rather than the traditional one-third two-thirds technique I normally use.

Many thanks for your comments on my images this morning (UK time!).

Neil

Amazing shot! The perspective is quite unusual (obviously) and so is interesting, but also the abstract elements of shape and texture are also providing great interest and appeal. Nice composition in the positioning of the wrestling mat and the crowd.

Anindya Maity   {K:6451} 11/25/2005
Very good composition, the top view is particularly interesting.Love how u have included the Congress flag and your clever title.

Stefan Engström   {K:24473} 11/28/2005
I find it very interesting (love that flag with the hand on it). I would have been very tempted to take a shot slightly lower and flipped it horizontally to make another flag out of the composition :-)

Gary Hill   {K:33604} 11/28/2005
Brilliant shot, very imaginatively composed. The flag makes a difference too. A view of India not often seen.
Regards, Gary
