Oh how aptly named. The clarity in this image is wonderful BC is so breathtaking. I've been up the Cassiar part way to Hyder and also all the way up the Alcan. BC has still got to be arguably the most beautiful place on the planet...in my eyes anyway. I just love all scenes and images from BC. Wish I lived there. Thansk for the viewing pleasure and into my favourites it goes. Cheers - Ann :)

I like this one even better. Think it's the composition I really go for here.

Spectacular!
Water is like a mirror and the colors awesome.

Good work as usual,
Lori :)

just wonder if thats really a lake or a river? it seems pretty narrow for a lake.... but there's no movement of water either.

at any rate, it is beautiful. i know how i find my places to shoot photos in china, how do you find yours tim?

Hi James,

This is a lake in the northern part of B.C. on the border of the Yukon.
Mostly i drive everywhere keeping an eye out for intereesting landscape. I stop frequently to walk around and see what might come up.

Tim  Schumm   {K:28854} 2/9/2006
Ho yeah I foregot to mention i travel with a inflateable kayak so that i can get those unique shots from the water without having the trouble of carting around a full size heavy type of boat. It is amazing how different everything looks from the water. The kayak packs up to the size of a large suitcase and is ready to go in 5 minutes. Here is a link to one of the ones i have http://advancedelements.com/1007.htm
I also have a much smaller one for when i am by myself
