Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 11/12/2005
Hi Bea,

wow, this almost looks like a painting, not a photograph. the low angle, the perfect color and the perspective really makes the image. I love that color contrast between the girl and the golden corn.

best wishes,
Thilo

ventrix drogo   {K:59234} 11/12/2005
Sorry write in italian.

Straordinaria immagine, mi piace molto, c'e' il senso di incertezza per un sentiero non visibile, alle spalle aperto davanti chiuso, ma la luce che si vede da sicurezza.

Una gran bella immagine.

Ciao.

enrico (ventrix)

Roger Williams   {K:82213} 3/4/2006
How strange! I'm sure I remember commenting on this beautiful image, but I can't find anything... Good to be reminded of it by seeing it on the front page. It really is very fine, with subtle colours and a wonderful sense of perspective. It also encourages the imagination to work overtime! I think I detect MF (6 x 6?)--it's the right shape, anyway [g]. Perhaps a Hasselblad with a wide-angle lens? Otherwise how would you get that wonderful depth of focus...

Bea Friedli   {K:9816} 3/4/2006
thank you Roger ! yes..you are right... a Hasselblad. thanks !!

Gianes Ma   {K:24331} 5/19/2006

Arthur Kornienko   {K:9884} 2/28/2007
The colours, exposure and contrast between the corn and sky are just excellent. The perspective is very nice also. Just a great capture of a moment in time, well done Bea.

Tony Smallman   {K:15158} 6/29/2007
Evocative shot-blue and yellow always combine well-reminds me of a film about strange rural rituals involving Corn Dollies, with a rather nasty fertility sacrifice at the end!
Great work, regards, Tony
