About A traditional little girl studio portrait (too cold outside now!) She was so serious and very very good for a 15 month old baby!

Really cute and classic. Her toes pointed together is so cute! Great work, Louise.

Lori Stitt   {K:74437} 11/13/2005
She's a bit too serious I think. Love the setting, and everything. But her little eyes need more 'glint' or something. When I photographed children this age I used a bag of strange goodies, noises, even my pet bird on top of my head...LOL

She is absolutely adorable!! Beautifully dressed and pretty face, she just doesn't want to be there. I love that little fist she is making.

Your toning, and coloring is absolutely beautiful! Background and chair, great.

Also love the presentation and finishing.
Good job,

Lori :)

Hi Lori, oh believe me I do have all those tricks. The puppet on the head is my usual trick!! I personally like the more serene expressions versus "CHEEEEESE". Thanks for the comments though.

Elisabeth D'Amico   {K:6353} 11/14/2005
very very nice
Eli:-))

This is great! I know how hard it is to capture a good expression on a little one's face. I just took some Christmas potraits of my little ones yesterday. I think that my daughter might actually be wearing the same dress as this little one, except that her bow and skirt are pink. Too cute! Well done!

Do you have your own portrait studio?

Louise Vessey   {K:13853} 11/15/2005
Thanks Lisa, yes we built one onto the house last year. I've always had a home studio. Been in this biz for 13 years, yikes!

Robert Whiteman   {K:2261} 11/18/2005
Nice in every way. Also, Deb said she just bought this same dress for Kiera. Isn't that funny? Ok, not "funny" but...

Serious as in always or it is the "I just WOKE UP" seriousness? Almost has that look.

great
beautiful lighting setup for that kind of shot
