Yes it looks so western...could be a building from here for sure. Great view from this vantage point. I wouldn't have thought there would be so much treed space there in Tokyo

Tim, there isn't THAT much treed space in Tokyo, but that's the Imperial Palace grounds you're looking at there! If anyone can have greenery where he wants it, it must be the Emperor.

A very beautiful shot, Roger!!! Was my red wall a challenge or was it posted before????Hahaha!
Now I remember I got a glimpse of it, might be the ministry of justice of the one of the interior. It looks good among the concrete and glass in the area! And about the trees...I beg to differ, if there was always something to impress me in this megalopolis was the presence of trees and vegetation wherever a small place is left free from concrete, iron, glass and asphalt.It is not only the Emperor who affords having trees around!

It is close to the architecture that you can find in my country as well, very nice view. Great sharpness and ISO 400 grainless as far as I can tell. Do you use a setting in the scanner software for that or Neatimage?

Rob, to answer your question I don't use NeatImage for noise reduction nor is there a setting in my rather basic (Epson Twain 5.5) software for that. I have tried using the PhotoRetouche NR utility because I have such a good experience of the other utilities in this set, but I never have much luck. I think I prefer grain! Given a good exposure, Superia 400 ISO has very good grain, although it soon begins to show up if you underexposse. The ISO 800 emulsion is similar but much less forgiving.

Small places, yes, Gabriela, but there's very little of the scale of Hyde Park, Richmond Park, or even St. James' park for that matter. Even Hibiya is no bid deal. Meiji Jingu is fine, but there you have the Emperor again...

You're quite right Kevin, but as it was I was kneeling on a windowsill with the camera jammed up against the window frame to get this shot from the 15th floor... and there just wasn't any "right" I could move to.
