About Subject backgrund: Berlin, an old sign, equipped with a memory sticker. Me, nothing better to do to shoot that scenario. =)

PS concept: some work with the channel mixer to bring out the textures of the sign. The grain is intended (film!).

This one is for Kevin Collier, master of street scenes. The memory remains.

fitting tribute Thilo...
great tones, and i like that distortion at the edges. to get really nitpicky-if this were my own shot, the only thing i'd change is the lower left corner. i'd crop or clone out that little dark area.
maybe i've got OCD or something...
best wishes,
todd

Hi Paul,

oh well, I have a lot more than my maximum 1 picture per day plan ;-)

I'm shooting more and more pictures in my latest holidays than I used to do. Not sure why. Hope you can keep up the pace =)

It?s funny Thilo, but i have almost the same shot, a sign like this, but instead of a city i have a sunset sky! :)
This is great, i like the way of compose, crop and the perspective...to let the sign shot the way!
NICE dedication too!

Jeanette

That kicks ass, as I told you already. Comes close to what I get with my LC-A with agfa film. Excellent work, bro!
