About A land of boiling springs, geysers erupting without notice, and a sulphuric aroma mist enveloping you makes this a shot you might expect from a prehistoric world. Taken at Mammoth Springs, in Yellowstone National Park.

I don't remember seeing a better shot of Mammoth Hot Springs. Yours is quite beautiful. Nice job!

I saw your beautiful photo on the front page (and left a comment) and then I read your self introduction. I am at the same stage as you, using film cameras then scanning the images and using a digital darkroom and ink-jet printer. I am not ready to move to a DSLR. You use your Hasselblad to very fine effect! I have just moved back into MF (after many years of 35mm only, mostly RFs but more recently SLR) with a 6 x 6cm SLR. Not, alas, a Hasselblad...

Wow, Wonderful!
It makes me want to be there... I just came back from a trip in Chile and saw that kind of landscape in some places, but not as spectacular.
The capture is also very good, the orange tint of sulphur stands out very well amidst the allmost black and white surrodingins.
Regards from Portugal,
Paulo
